For girls and boys who would rather be dancers than defensive defenders, the Falcons cheerleaders have the opportunity to make that dream come true.
Starting Saturday, August 24, children aged 5-13 can participate in the Falcons Junior Cheerleading Program. Participants will attend practice once a month, and will showcase what they learned during the break from the Falcons’ home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 22.
On Saturday, November 2nd, all age groups will train together on the field.
For a $295 program fee, attendees will receive instructions from current Falcons cheerleaders, official junior cheer uniforms, program T-shirts and pompoms.
This program is open to both girls and boys. After all, Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies, members of the L.A. Rams spirit squad, made history in Atlanta as the first men to appear with the NFL cheerleading team during the Super Bowl.

One important note: December 22 match tickets are not included in the program fee. Parents need to buy tickets for themselves and their cheerleaders to watch the game.
