The sports booster club is dissolved
BAR HARBOR – Mount Desert Island High School athletic director Bunky Dow announced on Facebook earlier this week that the MDI All-Sports Boosters Club would no longer exist.
“It’s very sad news, but due to lack of interest and volunteers, the MDI All-Sports Boosters club is disbanding. We will be looking for other organizations to manage the concession stand at the fall events.”
The volunteer group was previously tasked with raising money to support the various athletic programs offered by the school.
