Eagles cheerleaders appear to come to the team's aid during a fight on the field

It’s not often that we see a fight on the field break out in the NFL with the cheerleaders running to the scrum.

This happened during Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. A species.

After the Eagles jumped out to a 31-point lead in the fourth quarter, a scuffle broke out between the Eagles and Vikings players. This was right after a score, so the Eagles cheerleaders ended up on the field for the “Fly, Eagles Fly” routine.

For a brief moment, however, it looked like the cheerleaders were running to join the fray.

NFL fans noticed the odd moment as well.

But no, the cheerleaders weren’t joining the fray. They continued their routine as if the fight had not happened at all.
