MontCo Woman Named New Eagle Cheerleader | Montgomeryville, Pa. Patch

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA – Out of hundreds who auditioned over a three-month process, Cassie Boone was one of only 11 new members chosen for the Philadelphia Eagles this year. The Horsham local will join the team in their 2021 season.

As a cheerleader, Boone will be both “a brand ambassador and entertainer.” She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Gwynedd Mercy University.

In the announcement Friday morning, the team said interested cheerleaders spanned 24 states as well as Japan, Taiwan, Mexico and Canada. Only 48 candidates made it to the final audition.

“As ambassadors for the organization, the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders embrace meaningful engagement with our fans and have a strong connection to the community,” said Barbara Zaun, Eagles director of entertainment teams.
