MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA – Out of hundreds who auditioned over a three-month process, Cassie Boone was one of only 11 new members chosen for the Philadelphia Eagles this year. The Horsham local will join the team in their 2021 season.
As a cheerleader, Boone will be both “a brand ambassador and entertainer.” She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Gwynedd Mercy University.
In the announcement Friday morning, the team said interested cheerleaders spanned 24 states as well as Japan, Taiwan, Mexico and Canada. Only 48 candidates made it to the final audition.
