CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Students at Jackson-Via Elementary School in Charlottesville got a special surprise on the third day of school. A group of UVA cheerleaders greeted the children as they headed to class in the morning.
“It was so much fun, we got amazing hugs and smiles and we had so much fun brightening up your days,” said Lex Magenheim, UVA cheerleader.
The cheerleaders brought lots of smiles to the children’s faces by giving hugs and posing for photos.
