Atlanta Falcons fans may not have had the chance to watch as many of last year’s Houston Texas games considering they were in the AFC. In fact, not many people are watching Texas in 2021 because they are not a great team.

While they may be an unstable team, they have rising stars in the most critical positions in the league with the likes of Davis Mills, who also grew up as a Dirty Birds fan.

The Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans don’t have much to do with each other, in fact in their history they’ve only played each other five times with Texas leading the series 3-2. This may interest you : The Best Show You Don’t See Is ‘Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team’.

Davis Mills, if you’re not familiar with him, is Texas’s third-round draft pick in 2021, and interestingly enough he’s actually Houston’s first play pick in that draft despite being his 67th overall pick.

Mills took over a team that had a lot of drama in the quarterback position, which we’ll be past, and he’s managed to start in 11 games. He’s pretty solid and Texas has high hopes for him going forward.

During the Texas preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers on Amazon Prime, Al Michaels, who is a new play-by-play player for Amazon, brought up how Davis Mills grew up in Atlanta as a Falcons fan, while his father was a Detroit Lions fan.

So, it doesn’t seem like there’s much to be proud of in their household given their team choice.

Mills is a five-star recruit who just graduated from high school and chooses to attend Stanford a short distance from his hometown. He played well there but didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Now he’s playing at NRG Stadium and you know at first it brought back some bad memories from years past considering that’s where Super Bowl 51 took place.

Now you may have a new player to cheer on going forward as he is likely still backing the Falcons, at least until he returns home to play them next season.
