PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders released their 2016 swimsuit calendar during the annual “Countdown to Kickoff” at XFINITY Live! Thursday evening.

The women modeled their eco-friendly swimwear on stage while photos from the calendar appeared on the screen above them.

Casey Baldwin of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania has been chosen to cover this year’s calendar.

“I’m so excited to be on the cover,” said the 6-year veteran, adding that she also features 38 “beautiful and talented women.”

Casey traveled to Kuwait in December 2011 as part of the Eagles Cheerleaders Goodwill Military Tour, designed to entertain and boost the morale of servicemen and women in the US military. She and five other members of the unit performed dance numbers and gave meet and greets to the soldiers.

“It was absolutely amazing, I still think about it all the time.”

Casey, a graduate of West Chester University, models for fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer. In 2013, she represented the Eagles cheerleaders at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

At the conclusion of the fashion show, fans lined up to meet their favorite cheerleader and have their calendars signed.

The photoshoot for the 2016 calendar took place in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The calendar can be purchased at Philadelphia Eagles Pro Shops, online at store.philadelphiaeagles.com and bookstores.

A portion of the calendar’s proceeds will be donated to the Elmwood Park Zoo, home of Noah, a live bald eagle who makes special appearances at various Eagles events throughout the year, including home games.
