Why The Bachelorettes Gabby & Rachel Want To Dance With The Stars

The Bachelorette season 19 Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey talk about why they’d like to compete on Dancing With The Stars in the future.

Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey got their start on The Bachelor and are currently starring in their own season of The Bachelorette, and now they’re opening up about why they’d love to compete on Dancing With The Stars. Rachel and Gabby made history as the first co-hosts of The Bachelorette, and the two BFFs have been each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Despite the concerns of Bachelor Nation fans and alumni, they never let the show pit them against each other. Instead, they supported each other through a season meant to empower them after their rough time on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. Fans are anxious to see if his season will end with two commitments.

If Rachel and Gabby were to join Dancing With The Stars, they wouldn’t be the first members of Bachelor Nation to compete on the show. Some stars of the franchise who danced in the ballroom were Trista Sutter, Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, Nick Viall, Joe Amabile and Matt James. Fan favorites Melissa Rycroft, Hannah Brown and Kaitlyn Bristowe all won their seasons of Dancing With The Stars. It’s always nice to see Bachelor Nation stars competing in the ballroom because it gives new insights into their personalities and allows fans to see them in a completely different setting.

In an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop on The Bachelorette Men Tell All, Rachel and Gabby revealed why they would love to join Dancing With The Stars. Rachel explained: “Well, first of all, Gabby is a dancer and I’ve been rooting for Gabby on Dancing With The Stars. And, you know, maybe it could be the first time Gabby and I compete against each other? Who knows ? Let me see.” Rachel is referring to Gabby’s former career as an NFL cheerleader, during which she cheered on the Denver Broncos from 2016 until her retirement in April 2021.

Gabby also expressed her interest in competing on Dancing With The Stars, saying: “Oh, absolutely! With hands!” She went on to say, “Yeah, I love dancing, I love dancing more than I love doing it with guys on TV, which I really enjoy doing that. So that’s saying a lot!” The Dancing With The Stars season 31 cast won’t be announced until September 8 on Good Morning America, so fans will have to wait to see if Gabby and Rachel make the transition from sharing the spotlight on The Bachelorette to competing for the Mirrorball Trophy.

Fans have gotten to know Rachel and Gabby very well over the past year as they embark on their journeys to find love. From The Bachelor to The Bachelorette, they’ve supported each other. It would be so much fun to watch them compete against each other on Dancing With The Stars when the show premieres on Disney+ on September 19. Until then, they will continue to dance in the hearts of fans on The Bachelorette.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
