Falcons release full 2021 training camp schedule

The long, long dead zone between organized team activities and training camp isn’t over, but it’s getting close. The Falcons announced their open training camp dates today, which means you can finally start planning to be in person for one of the six days available if you’re interested in attending.

Training camp will begin at the end of July and fans will be able to attend for the first time on the last day of the month. Open dates and times are listed below, per team release Unless otherwise specified, all will be on the IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, and doors will always open one hour prior to kickoff of the practice.

For the team release, anyone heading there for practice on July 31st will get to hear Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot talk about the team, among other bonuses, so it’s worth getting in line for yours.

Early practice fans will also have the opportunity to hear from Falcons head coach Arthur Smith and general manager Terry Fontenot along with appearances by Atlanta Falcons legends Freddie Falcon and Falcons cheerleaders. Food trucks and the official Falcons merchandise store will also be on site. Due to current NFL protocols around COVID-19, there will be no opportunity for player autographs.

Obviously, it will be worth going as Atlanta has a new coaching staff and several new players to get familiar with. You won’t exactly learn big secrets about how this team works and who will be starting to go to camp, but you will be able to see how some of the new additions look and get a feel for Smith and his. style of the coaching staff.

Tickets can be purchased here – with the exception of practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, they’re free – and you’ll probably want to jump on them early if you plan to attend. If you are, be sure to use the comments to coordinate with other fans, and we look forward to hearing your observations!
