Arguably the highlight of the NCAA Tournament thus far, other than St. Peter’s Cinderella run to the Sweet 16, has been the Indiana Hoosiers’ cheer.
Indiana bowed out of the NCAA Tournament in the first round, being blown out by St. However, it was the Hoosiers cheerleaders who stole the show.
A pair of IU cheerleaders went viral on social media for retrieving a basketball that was stuck in the goal.
It is said that the players tried to get the ball first, but no one could reach that high. So the Indiana cheerleaders came up with another plan.
The two cheerleaders, Cassidy Cerny and Nathan Paris, have since gone viral, making television appearances across the country.
