The former Cal Poly cheerleader is officially a member of the Baltimore Ravens cheer team.
Allie Tee attended Cal Poly from 2013-2017.
“Did I ever think I would go to the NFL? No, but it was just my dream,” said Tee.
Tee faced a stumbling block in college, which only a small number of NFL organizations prioritize.
“I couldn’t miss it,” said Tee. “I missed the fun and I was like, if I can get back into doing that four years out of college, I want to do this.”
Tee grew up in New Jersey as a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
After his childhood, Tee moved to Santa Clarita, California.
“I stayed with the Eagles even though I was in California,” said Tee.
Tee moved to San Luis Obispo in 2013, where she joined the Mustang cheer team.
“I had an amazing coach,” Tee said. “My players surprised me. They became my roommates and my best college friends.”
In his freshman year at Cal Poly, Tee witnessed Cal Poly history up close.
“My freshman year, I got to go to the NCAA Tournament,” Tee said.
Tee says she was inspired by her cheer coach from Cal Poly, Annette Laron-Pickett.
“He saw more potential than I thought I would have,” said Tee. “He gave us that idea, go boss.”
In 2020, Tee tried out and made the Philadelphia Eagles cheer team, fulfilling his dream.
However, his journey as an Eagle began in the heart of the plague.
“It was unfortunate in that sense that there was no real season,” said Tee. “I still got to be an NFL cheerleader for the Eagles.”
In February 2022, Tee tried out for the Baltimore Ravens cheer team.
“I was just happy to make this team and to come back strong again, which is something I like to do,” said Tee.
While Allie will spend her weekends cheering for the Ravens, her full-time job is more important.
“I always knew that I wanted to work with children, so when I was in college I volunteered with children, and now I am working with children,” said Tee. “I am an occupational therapist, working with children with developmental delays.
Tee graduated from the School of Occupational Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in 2021.
While Allie will finish the 2022-2023 season with the Ravens, he has even bigger ambitions that go beyond the gridiron.
“Maybe opening my own clinic is all I want to do,” said Tee.
Tee will begin her cheerleading career with the Ravens on the road against the New York Jets on September 11.
