The Northside High School varsity cheerleading squad recently completed four days of competition at the University of North Carolina Wilmington cheer camp. Junior Kayla White and sophomore Trinity O’Neal earned All-American honors for their efforts and will perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade Dec. 4-9 in Honolulu, Hi.
“I’m very proud of Kayla and I’m very happy for Trinity,” Northside coach Caryn Vaughn said. “I’m proud of my whole team for performing well from 6am to 9:30pm for four straight days. It was our first time at a camp like this. We had a lot of fun, even though the days were long. We’re excited to show everyone what we’ve learned when the football games start.”
