But I’m A Cheerleader: The Musical is the story of Megan, an all-American high school cheerleader whose life is perfect.

That is, until she discovers that her friends and family suspect her of being a lesbian and sends her packing to ‘True Directions,’ a rehab camp to sort her out. It is at this camp, under the strict guidance of principal Mary Brown, that Megan meets Graham, a sexual tomboy who shows her exactly what her ‘true direction’ is.
