Eagles cheerleaders and mascot to visit Downingtown on April 29th

DOWNINGTOWN — Throughout the month of April, DASD has recognized Autism Awareness & Acceptance month with celebrations across the district. As part of the festivities, DASD partnered with the Eagles Autism Foundation to collect coins.

DASD’s elementary schools competed in a three-day fundraising challenge and raised more than $11,000 for the foundation. The top two winning schools, Lionville Elementary School and Brandywine Wallace, were visited by the Philadelphia Eagles mascot, Swoop. Last week, Swoop and Miss stopped. Pennsylvania, Meghan Sinisi, to celebrate with Lionville Elementary. This week, Swoop and the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders visit Brandywine Wallace Elementary.
