Due to the nature of pop-up storms and their unpredictability during the Charlotte summer, we want to make sure you are aware of and can prepare for moments of severe weather near the time of the event.
If lightning is detected within an 8-mile radius of Bank of America Stadium, the site will enter the Shelter in Place protocol. This protocol will remain in effect until lightning is detected within an 8-mile radius of the stadium for 30 minutes.

If this Shelter in Place exceeds the scheduled game start time, the Carolina Panthers will determine a new start time that will be communicated to fans.
