Han Ji Hyun And Jang Gyuri Are Cheer Leaders With 2 Different Kinds Of Resolution In New Drama “Cheer Up”

Get ready for two strong leads in SBS’s upcoming drama “Cheer Up”!

“Cheer Up” is a new college mystery rom-com about a college cheerleading squad whose glory days are long gone and now on the verge of disbanding.

Han Ji Hyun will play Do Hae Yi, a rookie in Yonhee Theiu University’s cheerleading team, who has a cheerful personality despite the difficult circumstances at home. As the de facto head of her household, Do Hae Yi carries a lot of weight on her shoulders – and ended up joining Theia to earn a part-time salary of 1 million won (approximately $694 USD).

However, once she becomes a member of the team, she soon falls in love with the thrill of cheerleading and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.

Meanwhile, Jang Gyuri will play the role of the cool and bubbly Tae Cho Hee, who is Theia’s first female co-captain. Unlike Theia’s captain Park Jung Woo (played by Bae In Hyuk), who sticks to the rules and believes that everything should be done according to instructions, Tae Cho Hee is extremely results-oriented and determined to lead the team to success. no matter what it takes.

As the ultimate professional, Tae Cho Hee shines brightest when she shows off her skills on stage and sets out to prove herself no matter what anyone else says.

The producers of “Cheer Up” commented, “Please watch carefully the new history that will be written by passionate student Do Hae Yi, who is full of spirit, and Tae Cho Hee, who is extremely good at her job. “

They further added, “The two characters’ stories will ‘cheer up’ today’s 20-somethings, who are currently taking on great new challenges and facing repeated failures.”

“Cheer Up” premieres on October 3 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Vika. Check out the teaser for the drama here!
