The Wichita Falls Recreation Department is hosting a cheer clinic and competition Sunday at Memorial Stadium, according to a media release.
The clinic and competition are open to first through sixth grade divided into three different age divisions, according to the media release.
Registration begins at 1:15 p.m. and ends at 1:55 p.m. Sunday. The event will start at 2 pm. and ends at 4 p.m.
The Midwestern State University Cheerleading team will teach cheers, chants, tumbling and more, according to the media release.
Teams can use what they have learned to participate in the competition for a chance to win first, second or third place. All participants will receive a ribbon upon registration.
