The Wichita Falls Recreation Department is hosting a cheer clinic and competition at Memorial Stadium on Sunday, according to a news release.
The clinic and competition are open to students in grades one through six divided into three different age groups, according to a press release.
Registration starts at 1:15 p.m. and ends at 1:55 p.m. Sunday. The event will start at 2 p.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
Midwestern State University’s cheerleading squad will teach cheers, singing, tumbling and more, according to a news release.
Teams can use what they’ve learned to enter a competition for a chance to win first, second or third place. All participants will receive a ribbon after registration.
