Glow and glamor beyond game days

With a bye week in the rearview mirror, Eagles fans have a lot to look forward to – an undefeated record, an MVP candidate at the cornerback position and an elite defense. What was the season like on the inside?

Game days are certainly one of the most exciting parts of every season. A team’s performance on the field makes or breaks a season for players and fans alike. But game days are also special for the Eagles Cheerleaders.

“Gamedays is a great resource for some of my favorite performances that my teammates and I have experienced. We kicked off the season with a bang, joining Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo on the air for the broadcast ahead of the Monday Night Football Home Opener at Lincoln Financial Field . It was such a fun way to get fans all over the country fired up to start our season,” said Deja, a sophomore from Philly.

“On our last game day, the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders put on a number of exciting performances. I started the day bright and early at the Premier League Fan Fest, which was the first Fan Fest to be held in Philadelphia. We were privileged to be interviewed by Premier League Mornings Live host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Tim Howard and Robbie Mustoe We’ve helped celebrate football here, which is exciting as Philadelphia was recently announced as the host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. for an evening game for our Philadelphia fans.

“The day went from European football to American football as my teammates and I appeared on NBC’s national telecast of Football Night in America. It was an incredible way to kick off the Cowboys vs. Eagles game. I really enjoyed being on set with Sunday Mario Taylor and Rodney Harrison of Night Football as they gave their insights on the game. A standout moment was when Jason Garrett predicted an Eagles win. We all knew that was a tough call to admit, coming from a former Cowboys head coach. The crowd responded with a roaring ‘E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!’ chanting, which is a sound I never tire of hearing.

“The excitement of Sunday Night Football didn’t end there as I also had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside two famous music artists, Meek Mill during the pre-game and then with Jimmie Allen at halftime. It was such a surreal moment standing on the field. I have performed many times , but this time alongside such esteemed singers. It was truly a dream come true to perform together. This was even more special as she also honored the many cancer survivors and their families who were on the field. Watching and seeing their smiling faces as they watched the performance was so moving and I’m so happy to have been a part of it.”

The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders do much more than what you see on the field.

“So far this season, we’ve participated in a variety of community events, initiatives and inaugural events here in Philly,” added Deja. “Another highlight included an appearance on Good Morning America with Philadelphia legend, Patti LaBelle. This appearance coincided with our official unveiling of the 2022 Eagles Cheerleaders, and it was a great way for my teammates to kick off the season.

“Another incredible event was the Inaugural Philadelphia Polo Classic, where many of my teammates appeared alongside Kareem Rosser and Nacho Figueras, renowned international polo players who are advocates of the Work to Ride program. The program is dedicated to empowering and educating young people through equestrian sports, and events like this mean a lot to us. We have such a focus to inspire youth through football clinics, cheerleading clinics and overall fitness and fun,” said Deja, who is the executive office and project coordinator when she’s not cheering for the Eagles.

“Another event that stands out was an appearance with WWE as they unveiled their new logo for WrestleMania 40 Philadelphia at WWE Extreme Rules. While at the event, we had the opportunity to connect with the world famous Ronda Rousey and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler During the broadcast, we took the stage and were greeted with thunderous applause, followed by a full audience who sang along with us to the Eagles’ fight song. It was an emotional moment when we saw the strength and depth of the Eagles fans.

“It’s so hard to pick a favorite among these incredible experiences, but I can say that I’m so grateful for each and every one of them. Every opportunity I get to connect with the community, youth and fans across the country. Eagles fans are truly everywhere, and the season opener was so exciting. I’m eager to see what other opportunities come our way as the season continues.”

A season is much more than what happens on game day. From appearing on national television and helping with important community programs, Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders help make a difference every day. Their passion and love for the city is why we have such passion and love for them.
