RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The Carolina Panthers’ first home game of the season is just over two weeks away. Those hoping to make it to the game at Bank of America Stadium will almost certainly face traffic jams and parking issues.
Another one is open this season. NC by the Train operates its football trains to transport fans to and from select Charlotte home games.
The drive would make a full day excursion. There are two ways to arrive on game day. The first arrives in Charlotte at 9:40 a.m. on Piedmont train #73. This would give enough time to see around the stadium before 1pm. to kick off. Another option is to arrive in Charlotte at 1:10 p.m. 75 on the Piedmont train.
After the game, train 78 would leave the Amtrak station at 7 p.m. This would give you time to enjoy the area before leaving town.
2022 schedule at 1 p.m. home games are:
The price of taking the train to the game depends on where you board. Raleigh to Charlotte is $30 one way.
