Are the Panthers eliminated from playoff contention?

The Titans and Chiefs are meeting Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium in a battle between the leaders of the 5-2 AFC playoffs. Tennessee is coming off a 17-10 win over Houston in which Derrick Henry rushed for 219 yards and two TDs, while the Chiefs had the week off after a 44-23 win at San Francisco. The Titans have won five of the past six in the series, including the wild-card game, although that one win against Kansas City came in the AFC playoffs during the 2019 season. The Cincinnati Bengals will have to adjust to life without injured wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, at least for now. With Chase out with a hip injury on Monday night, the Bengals were swept by the Cleveland Browns and slipped back to 4-4. The receiver will be on the bench again on Sunday when Cincinnati hosts the Carolina Panthers. Carolina lost in the wild in overtime 37-34 to Atlanta last week. Former XFL quarterback PJ Walker makes his fourth straight start for the Panthers.

What teams have been eliminated from playoff contention?

The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off their worst game in nearly eight years and spent the week huddling in Florida and trying to make amends. No one is likely to choose to play the shy and motivated Raiders right now. Jacksonville has no choice. The 23-year-old used a powerful block in the first round to rush forward which he never threatened to relinquish. Shilese Jones of the U.S. she was second, with Britain’s Jessica Gadirova third.

Did the Panthers win a Super Bowl?

Known for his big hands, Amari Cooper’s hand needs work. Cleveland’s talented wide receiver managed to laugh off a trick play that went horribly wrong in the Browns’ 32-13 win over Cincinnati on Monday. Cooper fumbled on his first NFL pass, which was intercepted. It was a rare setback for the 28-year-old who was everything the Browns hoped for when they acquired him in a March trade from Dallas. Cooper took the lead and left the field. He also gave quarterback Jacoby Brissett a reliable target to support the league’s top attack.
