Lisa Jordan on her marriage to private man – ‘He’s my cheerleader and silent partner in this’

Lisa Jordan opened up about her marriage to her private husband as she called him her number one supporter and cheerleader.

The Cork blogger shares snippets of her family on social media, but her beau has always stayed behind the scenes.

The couple are parents to two daughters, Pearl and Bowie, and a son AJ Ace.

Lisa said: “He’s my number one supporter, he’s my cheerleader and the silent partner is everything. I couldn’t have done it without him.

“He’s so good, he’s so supportive. He’s the driving force behind everything and I’m very lucky.”

Lisa explained why she is careful about what exactly she posts online.

She told VIP Magazine: “I’ve never been an oversharing blogger, but there are some who share every minute of the day – people love that and love to see their personal life – but I’ve never been that person.

“My followers know that I’m more guarded, I don’t go too deep, I’ve always kept an element of privacy. I’m so lucky that I have the best followers who respect my privacy. It’s the most beautiful online community. I there is nothing without them.”

Lisa’s husband is very romantic and he plans all their date nights.

She said: “Oh, we’re totally pumped! We have a lot of date nights and he plans them all.

“He’s great at surprising me with dates, he’s very, very romantic. He’s a diamond. I’m very lucky.”

Lisa has stepped back from sharing photos and videos of her eldest daughter Pearl recently as she is very aware of trolls and the bad things that also exist on social media.

She said: “I decided to stop putting her online when she started school last year. Pearl really loves taking pictures and making toy review videos – you’d think it’s because of me but no, it’s down to YouTube.

“I would never be cool enough. I cut my younger two off online too. You see when I started blogging eight years ago things were very different than they are now – people can be so cruel so I have to be careful and protect them from trolls .

“It’s hard because they’re already known and I can’t change that, but I can reduce what I post now.

“I am so proud of them, they are my life. They bring me so much happiness and I love how other mothers can relate when we watch.”
