Lisa Jordan on her marriage to independent husband – ‘He’s the cheerleader and my quiet friend in this’

Lisa Jordan has opened up about her marriage to her private husband as she called him her number one support and cheerleader.

The Cork blogger shares snippets of her family on social media, but her beauty has always stayed behind the scenes.

The couple are parents to two daughters, Pearl and Bowie, and son AJ Ace.

Lisa said: “He’s my number one supporter, he’s my cheerleader and my silent partner is everything. I couldn’t do it without him.

“He’s so good, he’s so supportive. He’s the driving force behind it all, and I’m very lucky.”

Lisa explained why she is careful about what she posts online.

She told VIP Magazine: “I’ve never been a blogger who shares a lot, but there are people who share every minute of the day – people love that and love to see their personal lives – but I’ve never been that person.

“My followers know I’m more guarded, I don’t go too deep, I’ve always kept an element of privacy. I’m lucky enough to have the best followers who respect my privacy. It’s the nicest little online community. I’m nothing without them.”

Lisa’s husband is very romantic and he plans all their date nights.

She said: “Oh we’re flat out! We have lots of date nights and he plans them all.

“He’s great for surprising me with dates, he’s very, very romantic. He’s a diamond. I’m very lucky.”

Lisa has pulled back from sharing photos and videos of her eldest daughter Pearl recently because she is very aware of trolls and the nastiness that also exists on social media.

She said: “I decided to stop putting her online when she started school last year. Pearl actually loves taking pictures and making videos of toy reviews – you’d think it’s because of me, but no, it’s down to YouTube.

“I would never be cool enough. I’ve reduced my two youngest online too. You see, when I started blogging eight years ago things were very different than they are now – people can be so cruel, so I have to be carefully and protect them from trolls.

“It’s hard because they’re already well known and I can’t change that, but I can reduce what I post now going forward.

“I’m just so proud of them, they’re my life. They bring me so much happiness and I love how other moms can relate when they look at us.”
