The B-UHS Cheerleaders held an open house before the regional competition

TENNERTON — The Buckhannon-Upshur High Schools (B-UHS) Varsity Cheerleaders hosted an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The team performed their 2022 community cheer routine in the B-UHS gymnasium before the game today, Saturday, November 5th.

The B-UHS varsity cheerleaders performed their routine for the community in the B-UHS gym to show off their skills for Regionals along with coaches Christina Nestor, Shelley Trader and Judy Skinner. The B-UHS Varsity Cheerleaders are Class AAA and will compete as part of Region I today at 10 a.m. at East Fairmont High School. B-UHS will also compete alongside cheerleading squads from University, Preston, Bridgeport, Brooke, John Marshall, Wheeling Park and Morgantown.

The state tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10 at Marshall University’s Cam Henderson Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.
