NFL world reacts to Panthers new uniforms in action

The Carolina Panthers take on the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football, and the NFL world has taken notice of the Panthers’ new “blackout” uniforms being shown for the game.

Carolina revealed the uniforms earlier this week, which drew a lot of attention. Once they were shown during Thursday night’s game, even more people took notice.

The Panthers should wear these uniforms full time. Neat

It’s an extremely clean look for the Panthers, featuring an almost completely blacked-out uniform with Carolina blue accents and a matte black helmet (seen in this Panthers highlight).

We’ll recognize this well-placed point, because it’s as exciting as anything happening in Falcons-Panthers #TNF so far. 🏈 pic.twitter.com/OFN2tr2rrs

These jerseys may spark some kind of excitement among Panthers fans, who haven’t had much to cheer about this season.

They currently sit at just 2-7 on the season and sit in last place in a struggling NFC South division.

The Falcons and Panthers met just two weeks ago, which was a wild affair that resulted in a 37-34 overtime victory for Atlanta.

Carolina notoriously had a real chance to win this game in regulation before Panthers star wide receiver D.J. Moore was penalized for grabbing his helmet after scoring a touchdown in the final second.

This led to Panthers kicker Eddy Piñeiro attempting a longer extra point to potentially win the game, which he would miss.

Carolina is looking to redeem that game in style on Thursday with their new uniforms that look to be a hit across the NFL world.
