What is the difference between d1 and d2 in All Star cheer?

A program with 125 or fewer competitive cheer athletes will qualify as Division II. A program with 126 or more competitive cheer athletes will qualify as Division I.

What is the difference between D1 and D2 gyms? And is it important (I mean, when you hear gyms say “we’re the only D1 gym in town…” should you pay attention?) D2 simply delineates size of gym. Reserved for gyms that are 125 athletes or less and limited to one physical location, D2 groups gyms of similar size to maximize fair competitiveness.

What are the divisions of All Star cheer? Age Division

  • Tiny: Ages four through six.
  • Mini: Ages five through eight.
  • Youth: Ages five through 11.
  • Junior: Ages five through 14.
  • Senior: Ages 11 through 18 (Depending on the level. This minimum age is increasing next year)

Where is Cheer NCA held? The All-star teams compete at NCA All-star Nationals. These All-star cheerleaders compete at many competitions within their region to earn a bid to compete at nationals. The College National Championships are held in Daytona Beach, Florida in April.

Where is NCA this year 2022? NCA will celebrate its 108th Annual Convention this year in New Orleans, LA from Thursday, November 17 through Sunday, November 20, 2022.
