CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A Banquete High School cheerleader is in Hawaii to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade after being named one of the top cheerleaders in the country.

Bailey Nobles was selected as an All-American while participating in a Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) Varsity Spirit camp at Texas State this summer. Only the top 12 percent of Varsity Spirit cheerleaders and dancers are selected for performances and parades at this level, Varsity Spirit said in a press release.

“We are thrilled that these outstanding athletes will have the opportunity to perform at our special events in Honolulu, HI,” said Bill Seely, President of Varsity Spirit. “We are honored to offer a unique opportunity where they will meet and connect with cheerleaders and dancers from across the country, as well as be a part of a meaningful parade experience that represents our nation’s history.”

The Nobles will perform alongside the Varsity Spirit All-Americans in the pre-parade performance on Dec. 7, and will also perform in a parade for the thousands lining Waikiki Beach.

All athletes will also have the opportunity to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii.
