Congratulations are in order for the Mount Vernon Knights Cheerleading Squad!
Both the varsity and junior varsity teams are headed to Florida to compete in Nationals.
This will be the first time in the program’s history that both teams participate in the elite competition in February.
Fundraising efforts are underway to help pay for the team’s travel expenses.
