The Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC will light up the holidays

Who’s ready to light up the holiday season? The Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC announced that they will host the annual Tree Lighting Festival on Tuesday, November 22 outside the Bank of America Stadium on the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street.

The fun starts at 17:00. with Christmas photo booths, writing letters to Santa Claus, tasty hot cocoa and more. You will also be able to purchase food and drinks from local vendors. There will even be fleece blanket making tables with the TopCats cheerleaders and Christmas cards for children from Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.

In addition to TopCats, you’ll see Sir Purr, Sir Minty, Purrcussion, Black & Blue Crew and of course Santa himself. He’ll be there in time to light the Christmas tree at 7:30.

The event is free, but tickets are required. And since this is a stadium event, NFL Clear Bag rules will apply at the festival, so only bring clear, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
