All sports fans love to see the drama behind the scenes. Videos of locker room banter or post-match parties are things that bring a club and its fans closer. It’s just like the club is trying to offer fans something personalized beyond great performances on the pitch.
There have been many behind-the-scenes videos of footballers that have gone viral. Players and managers dancing to a new TikTok routine is always a funny sight.
Recently, Crystal Palace F.C. posted a couple of videos on social media much to the amusement of their fans. The latest video features USMNT star Chris Richards showing off some of his dance moves for the camera.
Why has Chris Richards gone viral?

The video, which appeared online, featured Crystal Palace cheerleaders. In the video, the cheerleaders dance to a pre-planned routine. Just before the end of the song, however, the cheerleaders move aside. They make way for Chris Richards, who steps into the frame and happily continues his dance routine.

Earlier this month, a similar video went viral. Once again there were cheerleaders dancing to the same routine. But this time the Crystal Palace manager enters from the back of the room. It was quite a funny scene as Vieira looked quite helpless.
Will Crystal Palace finish in the top half this season?
The Eagles suffered a heartbreaking 3-0 derby defeat at the hands of rivals Fulham. For the Eagles, it proved too steep a slope to climb. Fulham led 1-0 at half time. It then got worse after Palace were red carded in the second half. The Eagles ended up losing the game 3-0.
Palace have appointed Patrick Vieira as their new manager ahead of the start of the 2021 season. It was a 3-year contract with a long-term vision. The Eagles did not fare too well under former manager Roy Hodgson.
Palace finished the 2021/22 season in 12th place. After being much closer to the relegation zone for the last couple of seasons. Fans saw it as a respectable end to Vieira’s first season.
But this season, the Eagles will be hoping to secure a top-half spot after signing some good youngsters in the summer transfer window. Currently, Crystal Palace is in 12th place in the points table. However, there isn’t much room for comfort when you consider the points gap between the teams above and below them.
