‘Desperate to stay relevant’: 3X NBA All-Star’s ‘wild’ statement about Heat cheerleaders leaves NBA Twitter in splits

In recent years, NBA teams around the league have been mixing up their halftime entertainment a bit. The Dallas Mavericks were one of the first teams to completely eliminate their cheerleading squad to introduce a more family-friendly halftime show. However, recent comments from former All-Star Gilbert Arenas may have been a step in the opposite direction for the league.

Cheerleaders in the NBA have been part of the game for more than three decades. However, in recent years, some teams in the NBA are trying to make the entertainment they offer their fans more practical.

Former Washington Wizards All-Star Gilbert Arenas recently appeared in an interview on VladTV. To see also : Phyllis Smith, 70, of the US Bureau, was a former NFL cheerleader and burlesque dancer. Fans didn’t agree with Arenas’ comments as a lot has changed over the years. Some criticized the former player for his attitude while others respected his honesty.
