Live Star was one of the first to respond to the ABC star’s Instagram post, which highlighted an article naming his show, World News Tonight with David Muir, which was named the most-watched program of the year by Poynter.
“Every night!! Many watched,” the mother-of-three wrote, along with a series of clapping emojis.

In a lengthy post about World News Tonight, the school of journalism and democracy said: “ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir has been the most-watched program on all of U.S. television. in 2022. Note: not just the most watched news broadcast. It was the most watched show ever.”

David and Kelly have been good friends for years, and Kelly even paid tribute to the star in her Live Wire book on the acknowledgments page.

David has been a familiar face on television for many years, and started hosting World News Tonight with David Muir back in 2014, gaining a loyal following.
The highlights of the journalist’s career have also been many. He knew he wanted to work in the media industry from a young age, which was only encouraged by his close-knit family.
David was born in Syracuse, New York, to his father and mother, Pat Mills, who divorced when he was young, but continued to have an amicable relationship with his parents.

When not working, David enjoys nothing more than relaxing at home in New York City with his beloved dog Axel.
