The Atlanta Falcons’ 17-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Eve officially ended the team’s chances of winning the NFC South.
There was plenty of blame to go around after Saturday’s poor performance — from the officiating to the lack of success on third and fourth down — but ultimately, the Falcons just didn’t do enough to win.
The fans were not feeling very happy after the game. These are the top reactions on Twitter after Atlanta’s Week 16 loss to Baltimore.

It’s early, but I believe Ridder should get a full season as a starter with a healthy Pitts along with London to show what he can do. #patttakes

Eight of the Falcons’ 10 losses this year have come in one-score games.

Greeting. The Falcons were once again competitive against a more talented team.
I’ve seen real growth from Ridder and London has bounced back from a bad hiccups with a career high in the recreational yards.
Moral victories are not fun, but they are important during rebuilding.

Close the game. It’s hard to keep going on a losing streak, but Ridder looked a lot better as the game went on so I honestly don’t care.
He needs to come out and show real upside against Arizona after learning his lessons against two stronger defenses.

I don’t know if this will be unpopular or not, but I really liked what I saw from Desmond Ridder today.
So far, it shows me that it has what it takes to, at the very least, get initial support for the full year of 2023.
He has what it takes to lead this #Falcons offense imo pic.twitter.com/6ZcaOMmylv

If Arthur Smith had just started Desmond Ridder against Chicago, then Ridder would be cooking in this game.

Ridder just needs some weapons around him and I think he will be our franchise Quarterback. With all the money we’re going to spend in free agency, I hope we build a defense around Ridder. Finally, Terry Allgeier is the truth!

I’m all about Arthur Smith saying “screw him” during his postgame press conference, taking the penalty and giving up on these two outrageous calls that cost the Falcons points today. I’d love to hear that.

Mariota had 3 games with over 200 yards for the Falcons in 13 starts. Ridder just passed 200 in his second start. The substitution was supposed to be made at the Bears game.

The Falcons absolutely pounced on that call, PERFECT block in space. BAD how it gets there
