Jessica Simpson treated her Instagram followers to a fashion flashback on Monday, posing in the varsity jacket she last wore as a 13-year-old cheerleader.
“They found my 8th grade cheerleader letter jacket,” the “With You” singer, 42, captioned the selfie, which shows her grinning from ear to ear in the outerwear green and yellow embroidered with her name.
The former teen idol combined the sporty style with diamond hoop earrings, an orange beanie and a bare face.
“Yes! Go Vikings! 😂,” cheered her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, in the comments.
Sharon Stone encouraged the author of the “Open Book” with “U go girl”, and Paris Hilton dropped an emoji with heart eyes.
But some fans seemed concerned with the appearance of the song “I Wanna Love You Forever” in the pic.
“I love Jessica but may I ask why Jessica looks different?” one asked.
“Jessica Simpson looks very different. is she ok Looks like she’s still losing weight,” commented another.
The “Newlyweds” alum has been open about her weight loss and serves as an ambassador for Emface, a sculpting treatment that has been called a “non-surgical facelift.”
Last year, the fashion designer told “Extra” how she dropped 100 pounds with the help of a nutritionist.
“I feel like me before I had kids and all the hormones go wild. I feel younger, actually,” said the mother of three, who shares 10-year-old daughter Maxwell, 9-year-old son Ace and 3-year-old daughter Birdie with husband Eric Johnson.
“I have a lot more energy and yes, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie.”
