The finalists for the 2023 class for the Pro Football Hall of Fame have been announced.
One of the finalists is Jared Allen, a longtime Vikingpass rusher. Allen had a remarkable career spanning a total of 12 seasons and is rewarded with a long look from Canton.
Allen is one of 15 modern era finalists, with four more senior finalists.

In addition to the modern finalists, senior finalists include Chuck Howley, Joe Klecko, and Ken Riley, and associate/coach finalist Don Coryell.
It’s good news for Vikings fans, who eagerly await the announcement of the 2023 class, which will take place at the NFL Honors show on February 9.
Allen finished his NFL career with 136 sacks and 32 forced fumbles. He played for the Chiefs, Vikings, Bears and Panthers over the course of his career. His 85.5 career sacks during his time with the Vikings ranks 6th all-time in team history.

Think about what’s coming in gameday? First and foremost the players and coaching staff who spent hours practicing and training to play for their fans. Then there is field preparation, match officials, live broadcasts, concessions and on-field entertainment. Yes, entertainment.
Second to the game, who are you watching? The cheerleaders? The band at halftime? What about the mascot? That’s a job not many people can do.
