I tried on my old high school cheerleading uniform – it still fits and I give Bring it On vibes…

Rummage through your old clothes can be both nostalgic and enjoyable.

A woman named Mika decided it would be a good idea to try on her old cheerleading uniform to see how it would fit her years later.

Posting on her TikTok account, @mikaahlecia28, Mika revealed that not much has changed since her high school days.

The red two-piece set slayed her body in all the right places.

She flaunted her midriff in the long-sleeved crop top, and the matching mini skirt flattered her long legs.

Mika was clearly delighted to discover the fit, admitting she looked like a character from the 2000 film, Bring It On.

She confidently danced and sang to the famous scream from the film.

Trying on old cheerleading uniforms is a trend being picked up on TikTok and YouTube.

Another woman named Anny, whose YouTube channel AnnyLovesPink has over 5k subscribers, did the same.

She revealed that she was about 15 or 16 years old when she originally wore her various cheer uniforms as a competitive cheerleader.

“Everyone talks about when you leave high school, you gain so much weight. For me, it was the opposite.”

When she wore the uniforms ten years ago, she was almost 20 pounds heavier than she is now.

She showed off a photo of herself during the day sporting the cheer outfit that was fitted to her body.

“Keeping that in mind, I don’t see how this won’t fit me. But I don’t think it will fit me properly. It will be too loose and too big.

The long sleeve crop top was too big on her chest, and the red mini skirt hung low and loose on her hips, instead of on her waist like it used to – revealing a lot more of her stomach than it was designed to.

The next top she tried on was one for cooler game days and competitions, and it had an undershirt and a tank top on top.

This fits her just right – not too tight or too loose.

“I feel good, I feel comfortable.”

She then took off the undershirt to show how she would wear the top for warmer days, and the tank also hung properly off her shoulders.

“And I don’t remember all the cheers. It’s been too long folks.”
