Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are the first team to win a college national championship since Alabama in 2011 and 2012.

Top-ranked Georgia won its second straight college football title by defeating third-ranked TCU 65-7 on Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

The Bulldogs are the first program to repeat since Alabama did it in 2011 and 2012.

Georgia, which finished the season 15-0 and ranked No. 1, was the favorite all season to come back after winning its first title since 1980.

Can the Dawgs go for a three-peat?

According to most sportsbooks, they are the team to beat. In the hours after Monday’s game, Georgia was +275 to win next year’s title, according to DraftKings.

Two other College Football Playoff teams, Ohio State and Michigan, are in the top four at +800 and +1000, respectively. TCU, however, is way back at +6000.
