Hometown Grant: Jaguars team up to provide support to those fighting food insecurity
The Jacksonville Jaguars have partnered with the Dairy Council of Florida to address food insecurity at Martin Luther King Elementary School through the Hometown Grant Program. Read also : The cheerleaders came together and raised money for the Children’s Cancer Association.

The Jaguars Foundation has partnered with the Florida Lottery to host FASFA 2022 parties at the following Jacksonville high schools: Raines High School, Ed White High School and Englewood High School. At each event, parents and students were connected with financial aid professionals to guide them through the FASFA application process. Former Jaguars Tight End Damon Jones addressed students and parents at Englewood High School’s FASFA night.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have partnered with Florida Fuel Up to Play 60 and the NFL to lend a hand at Long Branch Elementary through the Hometown Grant Program. Long Branch used the funding to provide healthier food options and redesign its outdoor cafeteria.

98-year-old World War II veteran joins the Jaguars for a team huddle
Coach Pederson invited Joy Casino, a 98-year-old WWII veteran, and her friends and family to watch the practice on June 6, 2022. She watched the practice from the personal daytime suite of Mr. Khan’s game, and Pederson presented him with a helmet. and a plaque to commemorate his service and experience with the team. Followed by many hugs and handshakes, she participated in the team’s final huddle.

Jaxson de Ville, ROAR of the Jaguars and Jaguars OL members Ben Bartch met with children in Hendricks to talk about the importance of being safe when cycling to school. Bartch and several cheerleaders also participated in a Q& A session led by Jaguars Senior Reporter and Editor J.P. Shadrick. The third-year offensive lineman shared several tips on how students can be safe on their commute to school each morning.

6th Annual Jaguars Salute to Service
The 6th Annual Jaguars Salute to Service Campaign presented by CSX culminated at TIAA Bank Field with the Jaguars Military Appreciation Game in Week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons. Players, staff, cheerleaders and alumni showed their appreciation for our American service members, veterans and their families through a series of events and initiatives throughout November.
