Malaika Arora has praised boyfriend Arjun Kapoor’s film Kuttey, which released in theatres on Friday. She shared her views about the film on Instagram.
Malaika Arora has shared a word of praise for actor boyfriend Arjun Kapoor’s latest release Kuttey. After a special screening for friends and family, the multi-starrer opened in theaters on Friday. Sharing the poster of Kuttey starring Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora wrote, “What a film. And amazing performances (heart emoticon) See it at a cinema near you.” He also added a ‘Let’s go to the cinema’ sticker with the post.
Arjun called her “My biggest cheerleader” when he posted on his Instagram Stories.
Kuttey marks the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasman Bhardwaj. It boasts of a cast of Arjun, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sensharma, Naseeruddin Shah and Shardul Bhardwaj.
Arjun plays a cop in Kuttey. After releasing the trailer, he said in a statement, “It’s really heartening to see that people, the media and the industry are loving Kuttey’s trailer and I’m excited to see him in this film. I’ve realized that people want to see him. I’m pushing myself to deliver a convincing performance. Sandeep Aur It happened to me in Pinky Faraar and I see the same love returning again with the Kuttey trailer.”
He added, “What people have seen is just a glimpse of what my character does in the film or what actually happens in Kuttey. If they are hooked on our film, that’s all we wanted to do with this trailer. Now, hopefully, people will like what I’ve done in the film. Looking forward to it. I’m waiting to see the answer when the film is released.’
Malaika also returned to the screen last year with her reality show, Moving In With Malaika. He showed private conversations about his life with his friends and family including Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Amrita Arora.
Arjun and Malaika are still going strong on the relationship front. They recently celebrated the new year with their industry friend Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal and a few others on vacation.
