MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — University of South Alabama cheerleading is competing in the UCA College Nationals at the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time ever, according to a South Alabama Cheerleading Facebook post.
“J-hands up to make history at UCA College Nationals,” the post reads. “For the first time we will be competing in the game day finals Division IA all girls!”
According to the UCA College National website, South will perform at 8 a.m. CT on Saturday, January 14 for the cheerleading and dance team semifinals in the national championship competition.
There are finals on Sunday 15 January. The final distributions start at 8:30 p.m. CT on Sunday.
