WADESBORO – Morgan Burr, Junior at Anson County College and Varsity Cheerleader for Anson High School, has been selected as an All-American.
According to UCA, the All American designation is “an individual award for those who demonstrate artistic excellence, leadership, and strong values.” For this achievement, Burr was invited to celebrate in London’s New Year’s Day Parade on January 1, 2023.
This parade is about 2 miles long. It has about 500,000 spectators and about 300 million TV viewers.

This once in a lifetime experience began this past summer, when Anson’s Varsity cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheer Association (UCA) camp at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. Cheerleaders are selected at this camp to try out for All-Americans.
