We have a young team this year consisting of 7 seniors Graycee Goddard, Becca Ward, Journie Tovey, Kaysha Beck, Rylie Walton, Kayanna Kunz, and Jaecee Jeppesen. 4 Anistyn Tovey, Brylee Barnes, Brady Showell, and Kala Layton, sophomores. 9 Freshmen Emery Thomas, Aly Wright, Jaylee Ekstrom, Taylor Cowdin, Evvie Williams, Bella Bowen, James Bass, Rebecca McCracken, and Destiny Brees. They have worked very hard this year and have grown a lot. We’ve got a few issues to fix to improve our routines, then we’re racing again in Preston this Friday in Battle at the Border and we’ll be up against all the teams we’ll be racing against in the districts next week.
It is going to be difficult and these children will have to work very hard these next two weeks. All the teams from our districts are pretty even and only 2 teams will advance from our districts. We’ve also had a lot of help this year from alumni cheerleaders Sammy Jensen, Abby Goddard and Bailey Waite with stunting, clean up routines and teaching our Pom routine. The cheerleaders are coached by Jennifer Hill and assistant coach Monica Tovey.
