Future Makers of Black History: Meet Aria Bounds, Preschooler…

Aria Bounds, 5, is in kindergarten at Loyd Auman Elementary School.

She was nominated as Future Black History Maker because “Aria’s talents in dance and gymnastics led her to become an honorary cheerleader with the Seventy-First Falcons JV Cheerleading Squad. Aria’s captivating personality attracted other young girls to cheer alongside her during the JV football games… Aria may be a future black history writer because of her natural ability to lead and inspire other kids her age,” her nominator said.

What is your favorite subject at school? Letters, numbers and learning about colors

What do you want to be when you grow up? A cheerleader and rock star

What are your hobbies? Playing with my toys, going to the park, skateboarding, watching musicals, going to the beach

What are you really good at? Singing, dancing and cartwheels

What Makes Your Child a Future Black History Maker? Aria is a born leader who believes she has the world figured out. This belief testifies to her independent and courageous personality and her ability to achieve the goals she sets for herself. …Aria’s creativity lent itself to helping co-create The Ari B. Aria’s books can be found on Amazon and range from ABC recognition, shape recognition, color recognition and counting to 10. With the help of her mother, Aria chose the images, shapes and colors for her books and was able to engage with the content in each book . interactive book during the creation process.
