The Illinois High School Cheerleading Team is scheduled to compete in the state cheerleading championships on Feb. 3-4 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
Four teams from the Peoria area are slated to compete among the 100 teams that will compete in the tournament, with preliminary games to be held on Friday and the top 10 schools in each class advancing to the finals on on Saturday. The competition is divided between small, medium, large and cooperative teams.
