JACKSONVILLE – Time and date are set.
The Jaguars will face the Tennessee Titans for the AFC South title at TIAA Bank Field on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. The NFL announced the time and date for the game late Sunday night.
The Jaguars (8-8), who beat the Houston Texans 31-3 on Sunday afternoon, have won four straight games — and six of their last eight — to move into sole possession of the division’s top spot. They can win the division with a win or a tie on Saturday. They are looking for their second South title, their first since 2017.
The Titans (7-9), two-time defending division champions, have lost six straight games. The Titans must win Saturday to win the South and make the playoffs.
The Jaguars can make the playoffs as an AFC wildcard team with a loss to Tennessee, but they need the following results next weekend: A loss to the New England Patriots (8-8) against the Buffalo Bills, a Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8) loss to the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins (8-8) loss to the New York Jets.
